The piksel worklab has evolved from aiming at further development and experimenting of MøB, to a more general aim of an opensource based worklab/symposium for artists and developers working with realtime processing of video and sound.
MøB is an environment for installations and realtime multimedia manipulation in Linux-based networks. The software engine is developed by BEK in collaboration with programmer Carlo Prelz, and will be further developed as open source towards a multi-purpose tool for live video and interactive installations under GNU/Linux. The project is initiated and managed by Gisle Frøysland.
