Out of the routine of the “professional” art-maker GENIUS lies ready to be awaken. It can be awaken by immediate, irrational, all giving, no-seat-belt-allowed creative action.
This is the Futurist credo. "Cinema solubile" means cinema that gets dissolves & instant cinema. A movie to be conceived, acted, shot, edited and seen in 24 hours. And destroyed after. A small tribute to the futurist manifesto of cinema and an excuse to blatantly overcome the limits of canonicity in art.
“Immediatismo” means to follow the impulsive action and demonstrate the essence of geniality. Apply immediate creative action to a complex, time consuming technical practice like cinema is hard. It requires elasticity, improvisation, freedom, capacity, will, tenacity, preparation and courage.
Analogy, synthesis, speed, generosity, and all giving bursting life is the main ingredient of the process. Futurism is and will always be a slap in the face of those who view to judge, given by those who dream to do. Such approach is perfect to sharp the nails of us, modern barbarians of a new eve.
It is time we sharp also our teeth and bite out the sun with a decisive, all eating bite.

THE GAME:
the time of the game is 23 hrs. 11 artists that work with image and film are invited to make a no budget film in this time lapse, about an unpredictable subject. After presenting their creation to the audience they destroy the master.
Only rules are:
• the film has to be no budget
• the film has to be thought, shoot, edited and shown in 23 hrs time then it will be destroyed.
• the film has to be visible as a film, by audience seated in a dark room watching a screen. Any technique that allows the maker this is (offcourse) allowed.
• film duration cannot be longer than 6′33′’and 11 frames.

How the game will be cooked:
- To setup the space makers will be exposed to splinters of futurism.
From 20:11 to 21:23.
A noise/tuning group of futurists (unorosso) has to float on the sound waves in the room, allowing unpredictable resonation. Awaken by the rhythmic figures of the music futurist poetry will be read in the original languages (Italian, Russian, Duch, French and other available languages). Sound makers can be guest artists for the evening, cueing in their 1’22” of live sound remix of the signal coming from the unorosso performance board the way they like.
Original footage will be shown from Cubo-futurism an Surrealist films.
- At 10:11 PM sharp the 11 players are requested to “put in a hat” a piece of paper with a two liner subject for a film. From the same hat opportunely shuffled each of them will take his story trace. Then he will be left on his way to make his film. He is free to use/invent the technique of his choice
- the film-makers are allowed to start producing their clip right after taking the subject from the hat.
- the following day, at 9:11 pm the works have to be given back to the jury that will gather in the cinema for the viewing. They will be shown at once in the order they have been assigned, in front of real public.
- After the projection the maker will be invited on stage TO DESTROY the master of his work.
- A prize will be given to the best film chosen by a selected jury
The viewing can be broadcasted on the internet to connected audiences. The audience will be invited to cast a preference and generally used as in the guidelines of the Futurist Variety Show manifesto.
