Antti Silvast Antti Silvast (1978) joined the audiovisual underground movement demoscene in 1996. Since then he has worked as a coder/musician/visualist for several different platforms including PC, Amiga, Spectravideo MSX and Gamepark 32. In 2002 Antti started to do VJ performances and decided he would do his programming in Linux. The agenda behind VJ'ing was that all of the visual artefacts should be synced to the venue's music and that the software should be adjustable real time. Audio sampling, Fourier analysis and MIDI controllers became thus utilized, connected through a self-programmed VJ platform. More info can be found at his VJ group's homepage http://www.anioni.com/pseudotoad/. (Pseudotoad is a part of larger VJ collective Amfibio, see http://www.amfibio.org) In his civil life Antti is a student of sociology, who likes to reflect on the relationship of man and technology whenever he can. He is currently working in Helsinki University of Technology and Helsinki University of Arts and Design.
