Carlo has no time, as normal these days. he is tired after a yoga lesson that came after a whole day of happy battling with OpenGL.
Well, he has had the great luck of spending a couple of months in sunny (?) Bergen, developing Mo/B. You can find lots of info about it elsewhere. He arrived to this happy target after studying (long time ago) Architecture, learning computer graphics in Fortran77, and spending 8 long years writing software to help curious people find out what other people watch on their TVs?. Then he saw the light, moved to Holland and worked for 1 1/2 years for Media Lab V2 in Rotterdam. He did really enjoy the change.
For the last 3 years, he has been working as a freelance (operating what people here call an Eenmanszaak, called As Fluido). He was able to pay his for food and shelter (as well as for a motorbike and a few technological gizmos) by writing software for specific multimedia arts interventions. More than trying to create a tool for universal use, he really enjoys working in close association with the artist, writing code in a craftsman-like style.
He does not really know what he will be able to say at Piksel, because he is very much busy with a project that has to be ready in 10 days... and then he will fly to Bergen. Oh, well, these are interesting times.
