changed: - <h1>Daniel Skoglund</a> I am a sound- and music artist from Sweden. My activities include installation art, performances, often in a musical context, as well as sound/music compositions. For several years until 2003 I was part of a swedish soundart duo called 8tunnel2, which was given some attention in Sweden due to our performances with electrified and sounding vegetables. I have, since then, been working with several other artists, as for instance Dj Olive (US), Lasse Marhaug (Norway) and Mats Gustafsson (Sweden). I have done work for swedish radio, commissioned music for EMS(electroacoustic music in sweden)and I have been artistically participating on the Sonic City project at Future Applications Lab at Victoria Institute in Sweden. In my performances I´m using sounding devices and apparatures of own design. They are electronic and mechanical, and controlled by choices and by chance. I´m trying to communicate by visualising sound and music in new ways and I´m trying to do this unhierarchically and transparent. My techniques are somewhat non-musician-musical, because of the lack of dependence on virtuosity which is built-in my equipment.
