Franco Iacomella is a Free Software activist-developer since he was 13 years old. He is member of the GNU Project, Observer of the Council of the Free Software Foundation LA, collaborator of the Free Software Foundation, Director of the NGO Gleducar (Free Software in Education). He develops Free Software and participate in multiple Free Culture projects, such as the Synfig Project. He is the creator of Cut the Circle, the First Open Movie totally made using Synfig Studio (http://ctc.icaro.org.ar).
He studies Audiovisual Design in University of Buenos Aires, place where he also make research work. He is also a becarium of the Rhode Island School of Design of the United States.
