Jan Carleklev has worked as a sound artist and composer since many years. His work has been shown in Europe as well as the US and I have released several CD's. In 2007 participated he for the first time at the Piksel festival.
Jan Carleklev work with both authentic/natural sound and electronic sounds to explore the borders between them. Also seeking links between nature and today’s society. In this context contrast is playing a big part and I am constantly developing ideas around this phenomenon - both as an composer and sound artist. During recent years has he incorporated physical computing in his work more and more.
