Jun Iio I graduated from the Tokyo University with a degree in Mathematical Engineering. I am now working for Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc. My main areas of interest are image processing, machine learning, and user interface. After the MAlib has been published as Open Source Software, I am also working on some surveys on the FLOSS culture. My recent works are as follows: [1] J.Iio, T.Yatabe, K.Hiyane, "3D Model Viewer with Real-time Viewpoint Tracking System," INTERCT2003, pp.1107-1108, Zurich, Sep. 2003. [3] J.Iio, T.Arai, "Evaluating an Intuitive User Interface for Three-dimensional Model Viewer," (Submitting to VSMM2004) Statement: 'MAlib' is an open source C library for ... Media Analysis, Motion Analizing, Movie Architecture, and Media Authoring. The MAlib is designed based on object oriented architecture. It enables developers to make a real-time image processing application rapidly, by connecting image filter components. It is very easy to implement a new filter. Only thing that developers have to do is extend a similar filter class in the library. http://www.malib.net/
