Koray Tahiroglu, b. 1973

Koray Tahiroglu grew up in Istanbul where he studied architecture in University of Fine Arts, MSU. Later on, he studied his MA degree in New Media at University on Art and Design, Helsinki and at the moment, within the same institution, he is doing an artistic research on simulating human musical interaction. He is experimenting on creating possible environments for generative musical improvisation. Composing and performing electro-acoustic music has been a junction point for all of his interests in contemporary art.
