Suzi Webster is a recent fine arts graduate of Emily Carr Institute and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Her multimedia installation work explores tensions, potentials and collisions between the real and the virtual, the viewer and the viewed. Suzi will be starting her MFA at The Slade School, University College of London in the fall, where she will continue to question and explore the implications of new media within a critical framework. Her work has been shown, published and performed in Canada, Europe and South Africa. Recent works include Room 203 as part of the Dominion Hotel's Project; Technological and Geological Nomadism, a telematic performance for the Victoria International Film and Video Festival and ID One, for the juried alumni show Evolution.
