RAW (Radiating Addictive Waves)
RAW is a performance showing raw results of a research that we would like to conduct during piksel workshop. The aim is to inquire into existing representations of the body in relation to machines. What are the effects of intense exposure to electromagnetic radiation from screens, computers and electronic technologies in general? Can we look into the influences over human cycles, rhythms, habits? Can we speak of degrees of addiction? Are we witnessing a biological drift that is coupling the representation of our bodies with the hardware of electronic technologies? Can we describe the changes -or mutations, that silently take over the images that represent our bodies? We would like to show these inner representations, asking pikselites to share these dimensions in recorded interviews that will be the raw material for RAW performance.
