I am interested in remixing/hacking old/home/advert/news videos together and using pd+gem, and have built a piece of OSC sequencing/mapping software which i use to control my pd patches along with various midi devices (herc dj console and keyboard). Statement: These works use japanese commercials which is just something i am into at the moment, along with news clips and older commericals. I like to try and break apart these produced pieces to highlight stereotypes, cliches, etc. Software PD + GEM (video and audio rendering) processing (in the form of a home rolled OSC sequencer/mapper which i simply called the timeline, i will release it at some stage when i think it is sufficiently functional/useable to do so) this is compiled to an app, which i use to control OSC enabled PD patches.
