Statement:

Work by David is often of a conceptual nature influenced by Minimalist composers such as Philip Glass, Steve Reich and so on, in addition to the conceptual nature of John Cage's output. Stefan uses many of the same minimalist concepts, although in a more electronic, 'techno'-influenced setting. He has also worked on albums more 'Pop' in nature, still with the focus on computer music. Stefan will join Sounds Northern on the Wednesday. A common interest to Stefan and David is Steve Reich's piece titled 'Pendulum Music'.

The installation will involve loops, on both the audio and video side, with the myriad of things one can do with feedback. Our aim is to create a partly interactive installation, so come and play with us! We welcome a team or person involved with video to come along side us and create a double-installation. More feedback = better installation! This is an AV installation's equivalent to a band's 'jam' session.
