actual-status of global communications
- we are and we make the Internet on top of technologies provided by private capitals which also receive support from the governments and suck the money from their users (cell phones, Internet access, PTSNs, satellite bandwith, more..) and even pretend to determine rules and laws for usage, and many other ridiculous policies which tend to violate private information.
- textual contents at present time, are certainly easy to spy and establish relational links between individuals, groups of individuals and organizations by processing the collected information through robots (programs) which apply different algorithms to the input in order to output results over which the owners of these systems (mainly the countries governments through their secret information services - CIA, Pentagon, etc) take decisions and strategies to keep having control over the mass. Echelon is a more or less well known example of these information spying systems, called carnivores.
post-textual era
- the www exists for long time now, and new ways of developing ideas and projects, in a distributed/collaborative manner begin to arise and grow faster each time. such is the example of the wikipages.
- anyway, in turn to the concept of "distributed", which involves people worldwide, there exists a very important barrier: language.
audiovisual meta-language
- as a layer on top of written and spoken languages, it might probably work as a communication tool which can be interpreted independantly to our native langs.
watch out! the mainstream is coming down the pipe
- private media corps own the TV, Radio, and thus result as a convenient tool for the .gov to manipulate the mass.
the mass media
- imagine a group of heavy cows being driven to a certain destination by marking and narrowing their path.
