xinf (is not flash) - or: How to get rid of Flash by using it.

Statement:
Xinf (Xinf Is Not Flash) is another platform for GUI programming, yet one with a twist: you have one language and API to target Firefox' JavaScript?, Adobe's Flash Player, and our own Xinfinity runtime (itself targetting Linux/GTK, Windows and OSX). If the environment is capable to do what you want, it shouldn't matter to you while you code.
Xinf builds on the excellent haXe and neko projects, bringing in abstractions for rendering and user-interface events, implementations thereof for JavaScript? and Flash, and its own OpenGL-accellerated, cross-platform runtime. In it's latest turn, Xinf tries to implement at least a simplified version of SVG. Oh, and did i mention it's completely open source?
Software:
haXe/neko, OpenGL/X11, freetype/fontconfig, gdk-pixbuf, gstreamer
